Terms and Conditions


The Notice of Pesticide Application only deals with the management and/or treatment of known pests specified on Mantid’s Tax Invoice. However Mantid Pest Management cannot guarantee the outcome of management or treatment procedures.


  1. Is it the responsibility of the Client to ensure that any Treated areas are not disturbed and this includes any baits, monitoring stations, and traps placed by Mantid Pest Management.
  2. Mantid Pest Management must be notified IMMEDIATELY of any evidence of active (live) Pest Infestations found.
  3. The Notice of Pesticide Application does not include the inspection and/or property assessment of maters outside the scope of the Notice of Pesticide Application. Accordingly, this is not an inspection report or management proposal for timber pests such as termites, wood borers, fungal decay, and chemical delignification. This extra information would be the subject of a pest inspection report or management proposal which is adequately specified.
  4. Inspections only cover areas of the property which are normally accessible and part of the treated area. Inspections do not cover areas which are inaccessible or not readily accessible or obstructed at the time of the inspection.
  5. The Notice of Pesticide Application has been produced for the use of the Client named on the Tax Invoice. Mantid Pest Management are not liable for any reliance placed on the Notice of Pesticide Application by any third party other than the disclosed Client.
  6. The Notice of Pesticide Application only applies to the work of Mantid Pest Management. It does not apply to the work of any other pest manager.
  7. Any agreed service obligations are strictly between Mantid Pest Management and the Client named on the Tax Invoice.


  1. The Notice of Pesticide Application expressly excludes the treatment, rectification, or repair of damage resulting from past, current, or future pest activity.
  2. The Notice of Pesticide Application expressly excludes the treatment, rectification, or repair, or any pest management treatments or systems which have been damaged through the actions or inactions or the Building Owner or its servants, agents, or invitees.

Important Health and Safety Information

  1. You must advise us of any pets or of any personal or family/staff allergies or other health concerns
  2. Any persons who may be particularly sensitive, or who may suffer from allergic reactions should, as a matter of precaution, remain out of the premises for a period of twenty-four (24) hours and not return until after the premises has been fully ventilated. Leave any air conditioners on “vent mode” (so they circulate outside air into the building) for a period of at least four (4) hours after treatment or after reoccupying.
  3. Should you suspect anyone has come into contact with a treated area and has been affected in any way, contact Poisons Information Centre on 13 11 26 and have this notice with you.
  4. You must cover all food items and all food utensils prior to a treatment, as directed.
  5. You must remove or protect any people, animals, birds, or fish during the treatment period. All pets/animals should be kept away from treated areas until dry and any odour has cleared.
  6. You must avoid contact with treated surfaces until the insecticide has dried. This could take from three (3) to twenty-four (24) hours in some cases.
  7. You must observe any verbal advice provided by our firm or our licenced technician at the time of treatment.

Treatment Details and Pest Management Agents

  1. All products used by Mantid Pest Management and its agents are approved by the Department of Primary Industries and/or the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) and are registered for use within the relevant State or Territory.
  2. While every care will be taken, Mantid Pest Management will not be held liable should staining of timbers, fabrics, wall coverings, floor coverings, or any other articles occur.
  3. WARNING. Where concrete drilling and/or cutting is required, no liability is accepted should damage result to concealed services such as power, gas, water, etc. You indemnify us against any costs that may arise from such possible damages. You should provide clear and accurate plans before we commence any such works. (No rectification works are provided for unless mentioned on the Tax Invoice.)
  4. You accept that the Mantid Pest Management program can be rendered ineffective if you fail to implement our recommended hygiene procedures, by making building and/or landscaping alterations, or by the introduction of conducive or infested materials.
